Hong Kong: Islands of Peng Chau and Lantau
Hong-Kong : Iles de Peng Chau et Lantau
This news is not in its original language, and has been translated automatically. Click here to see the original page. Today, I decided to go to Tai O hiking. First we find the second hotel we took for the night to make our business and pay the rest ... In fact, it comes too early, they tell us to go back at 11am! We are thus left to a small tower. In walking, it falls on the ferry that connects the mainland portion of Hong Kong (Kowloon) and the island of Hong Kong. We take it, is not at all expensive: $ 1.7, or roughly 17 cents.

We are then on the island where all the towers, and hence companies. There is also some shopping centers, stores and even richer in that corner there. In the midst of buildings, we came across a nice little park.

After a stroll in the mall, we resume the ferry to return to the hotel, quickly returning to an assault on the island of Lantau to go to Tai O! In passing the hotel, you meet a French of twenty years from teaching English (or French? thin remember pu) in Tibet. Once on the ferry, we realize at some point it takes a bizarre turn and headed to another island! Finally we arrive on the island of PengChau ... Looking at the time of the next ferry from there to the island of Lantau, and as a lot of time on hand is a stroll on the island, as well as to
!
!
Finally, the island is super nice. There's not many people and lots of nature! So we had walked a good half of the island in all directions by passing through small villages (y'en one that was really weird, but I dared not take photos).

We found a small cemetery, but I never guessed it was a cemetery where there were no pictures on the tombs. We also found a nice little creek, where just for the photo (look in the middle of the fleet!) I bathed. The water was not very cold, otherwise I will not be returned, but not very hot either ... Worse I had no towel or anything galley a little later, fortunately it is hot in this country!

After we finally went to the island of Lantau. But it is a little late and the sun is already beginning to fall ... and since it must wait for the bus to Tai O and it takes some time to arrive, I ask advice from a Chinese, and he told me to go in a certain direction to see the temples that are not too far. So we decided to go and ... we will never find these temples!

By cons market was still in the mountains, was discovered at around BBQs nice, and passed through strange villages (yes there's many villages weird here, at least ... not tourism at all!). Do not be afraid even to go through unsuitable roads ... they are nicer, more battered, there's more green, short is funnier
Except that sometimes you find yourself stuck in a strange place! As there on the right picture, I am not happy because it has gone down a great place while it dangerous to fall in a leafy cul de sac! Ahhhh, is back after all!

Here is a little odd villages I mentioned, but that's a big one, with lights! Here it is night, then had to really think back, to find the ferry ...

Down with the smokers!
